Nockberge Bad Kleinkirchheim is immersed in the Alpine environment of UNESCO Biosphärenpark Kärntner Nockberge at an altitude of more than 1000 metres, and hosts the Women’s Ski Mountaineering World Cup.
Since 2012, the Nockberge Nature Park has been the largest UNESCO biosphere reserve in Austria, awarded as a model region for sustainable development and as a particularly valuable habitat for people and nature.

Farmer 's Market
On some market days, it is still dark when the fresh fruit and vegetables, bacon and eggs are placed on the market stalls. It smells of spicy cheese, sweet Reindling and farmhouse bread, which is placed in the display case while still warm. Sometimes visitors to the markets in Carinthia also smell the scent of sea fish rises to their noses, which was only brought into the boat with the nets a few hours earlier.

Feldsee and Milstaettersee are drinking-water quality lakes and are about 15 minutes by car. They have beachfront resorts and water sports.

36 two-seater bobsleighs whiz through 26 curves and a length of 1.4 km. With fast straights and sleek curves, the adrenaline rises at a maximum of 40km/h and an average gradient of 24%, especially in the 7-meter-high roundabout of the home straight.
